Art in the Garden at White Wagon

Art, Food, Fun, & Plants on Sale

White Wagon Farm and Sage House Gallery will be holding Art in the Garden 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. October 22.

There will be painters in the garden, paintings on the clothesline, refreshments in the kitchen, soap makers on the stove, vegetable gardeners in the collards and plants everywhere you look.

This delightful fall event is always a treat. It features painters Pat White, David Cook, Jan Crummer, Marvin Crummer, Tom Herrin, Bill Lewis and Susan Waggoner. Potters are Judie Henderson, Rita Mackintosh, Jean Mross, Cindy Turax and Elaine Luber. Photographer Kathy Wagenknecht also exhibits, as well as jeweler Roberta Coyne.

Sheep Arbor by Pat White

White Wagon is known for its roses and for the largest selection of herbs in central Arkansas. Ms. Wagenknecht recommended lemon grass for this fall's premiere herb.

"It is planted around villages in India to keep the tigers away. Lemon grass has proved similarly effective in Arkansas. We have not had a single tiger invade the nursery since planting this tall, stately herb nearly 20 years ago."

There will be lots of beautiful plants on sale for this event. Y'all come.
